Pharmacross Scientific Award at National Veterinary Congress in Jelgava, 2014

From the 27th to the 29th of November, the National Vet Congress took place in Latvia in the very nice and interesting venue of the University of Jelgava. In accordance with Sia Universitates Vetfonds (Pharmacross distributor in Latvia) and the Congress Organization, the first Pharmacross Award for Young Veterinary Scientists it was created. The Award was conferred on the best abstract submitted to an International Scientific Board.

The prize has been awarded to doctor Piret Hussar (with a study on “Comparative Study of Glucose Transporters GLUT-2 and GLUT-5 in Ostriches Gastrointestinal Tract) in occasion of the Gala Ceremony, attended by over 300 Veterinarians.

At Pharmacross we are proud to give the opportunity to young vets to develop their knowhow Veterinary Medicine. This activity reflects one of  Pharmacross missions, to raise standards of products offered to both Vets and Customers other than of services provided to its Distributors.
